Terms & Conditions

Arada Tours undertakes all possible steps to ensure that your itinerary runs efficiently and enjoyably per your travel arrangements.  Our booking terms and conditions are to provide transparency regarding the responsibilities undertaken between us and you when we agree to accept a reservation.

Cancellation policy

All tours may be cancelled by the customer for any reason not subjected to debate from Arada Tours LLC.  Arada Tours may cancel reservations in particular unexpected circumstances including but not limited to political unrest, ill-advised weather, and or schedule conflicts.  In the event of Arada Tours cancelling reservations a full refund will be administered.  No tours will be cancelled by Arada Tours within 4 weeks of departure date expect in the case of circumstances outside of the company’s control.  If cancellation occurs due to the customer, the refund policy outlines all applicable charges and refunds.

Refund policy

Cancellations occurring 7 days after initial booking with $350 deposit paid per person will result in a cancellation fee 100% of deposit paid.  All domestic flights will incur a cancellation fee of 100% of the total cost of the domestic flight regardless of the time frame associated with the departure date except in the case of cancelling within 72 hours of instant bookings.  Prior to 4 weeks of departure date a cancellation fee of 10% of the total tour cost.  Prior to 2 weeks of departure date a cancellation fee of 50% of the total tour cost.  Any cancellations occurring within the week of departure will constitute a cancellation fee of 100% of the total tour cost.  All no shows will be subjected to a cancellation fee of 100% of the total tour cost. 

No show policy

Customers who fail to show for a paid tour assumes the risk of loss.  All no shows will be subjected to a cancellation fee, please see the Refund Policy. 


Invoiced reservations within 4 weeks of departure date are due in full.


A $350 deposit is required for all invoiced tour prices to confirm reservations. 

Credit Card Payments

Arada Tours is able to accept debit card payments or Master Card, Visa, and Express credit cards.  All payment processing fees associated with payments apply and will be the responsibility of the individual making the transaction.


All tour prices are displayed and processed in $ US Dollars.

Bank Transfer

Customers will accept the Bank Transfer fees applied by their institution whether international or domestic.

Declined payments

If a credit card, debit card, or any form of payment is declined it is the responsibility of the customer to ensure a successful transaction is followed.  An alternative payment may be used in substitution.  If a successful payment is not received by communicated deadline associated with specific tour start dates then the reservation is liable to be cancelled (see Cancellation policy and Refund policy) 

Responsibility and Liability

Quality tours are our aim and norm.  If you have any complain during the Tour, please contact Arada Tours office as soon as possible for resolution.  We strive for smooth tours but Arada Tours cannot be held responsible for cancellations in case of unrest, war or natural calamities and over-bookings made by third parties such as hotels, airlines, transport companies or other Travel agencies. Although we only make use of safe and well insured cars and other materials and every possible care is taken to safeguard our clients and their properties, Arada Tours cannot be held responsible for any loss or harm of personal goods, consequences of sickness, accidents or calamities. All extra costs resulting from above mentioned situations are for the client’s own account. Arada Tours will use its best efforts to assist as an agent for our clients in dealing with third parties and in cases of need such as theft, sickness, injuries or other calamities. All claims are subject to the jurisdiction of the court of Ethiopia.  Our clients are obliged to travel with good travel and health insurance.


You are required to take out travel insurance covering the medical expenses and repatriation of all clients. Arada Tours will does not have liability travel insurance but we do have insurance for all means of transportation which will be used during the tour. The insurance policy works according to the Ethiopian government law.


Tour prices can be provided upon request. Prices are not fixed but depend on infrastructure prices (depending on the season), hotel, staff expense and fuel prices and currency exchange rates. Arada Tours has the right to adapt an earlier given price up to 30 days before commencement of the tour. After payment of the total tour price by the client(s), no adjustments will be made.


The client appreciates and acknowledges that the nature of this type of travel requires considerable flexibility and should allow for alternatives. The outlined itinerary as given for each tour must therefore be taken as an indication only of what each group may accomplish and not as a contractual obligation on the part of the company. It is understood that the route, schedules, itineraries, amenities and mode of transport may be subject to alteration without prior notice due to local circumstances or events, which may include sickness or mechanical breakdown, flight cancellations, strikes, events emanating from political disputes, climate and other unpredictable or unforeseeable circumstances.

We also consider flexibility in all possible circumstances to satisfy client’s interest by welcoming any request from clients during the tour.
